I am interested in my 1 year old son learning Vietnamese. My mother is from Vietnam and unfortunately , I did not learn the language. I realize that at this age, my son will not be a typical student learning Vietnamese, but I would like to provide him with as much exposure to the language as possibly with a Vietnamese instructor reading and speaking to him. I would like for him to have at least 2 hours a week.

I am very interested in learning the vietnamese language. I would like to pursue a career with Cathay Pacific Airlines and one requirement, among many, is to be fluent in either Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, Tagalog, or Japanese language. I am a beginner. I love to learn new things and enjoy a challenge. I currently work full time as a Medical Assistant, but am very willing to dedicate as much time as possible to my lessons. I am looking for a patient and dedicated teacher who will teach me efficently and will help me reach my goals. I feel a personal tutor would be best.

My partner, in-laws, relatives and friends speak the vietnamese language, learning vietnamese will help me to communicate with them. It will also give me a better understanding of their culture and way of thinking. I love vietnamese dramas and want to learn their language in order to gain a better understanding of it. I recently just converted to buddhism and I am having trouble finding english sessions, I want to learn vietnamese to be able to attend vietnamese sessions. I just like the sound of asian languages when spoken. I speak english and spanish but two languages are not enough :-).Learning a foreign language takes time and dedication and I have it. I am beginner.

I've always wanted to learn a new language. My fiancee is Vietnamese/Ch inese and I'd really love to be able to communicate with her family better. Plus I'd also like to bring her 8 yr old son along and do the lessons with him aswell. I think it would be a good bonding tool.
