Im interested to learn a foreign language for two reasons, career advancement and self-fulfillm ent. Im planning to look for work within Asia and I believe that having knowledge in basic Mandarin or nihonggo would increase my chances of landing a good job.
I want to learn conversationa l Mandarin or Nihonggo. And i plan to devote at least 2 days a week for about 2-3 hours to learn the language.
I'm looking for a language teacher who's going to be patient to his/her students. I know that learning a different language is not that easy, so i want someone who is creative and can make a student learn easily and effetively. And most importantly, an instructor who would not take advantage of his/her students.

I'm a doctor in pediatric cardiology and planning to continue my training in one of the hospital in japan. My training will start on January, 2007. I am having my regular duty in the philippine heart center that is why my free time to study nihongo is only in the evening during weekdays and afternoon during weekends.
