Hello,
I am looking for someone to come to my home and provide Polish language lessons. My children are 7, 5 and 2 years of age. The lessons would be for the 7 and 5 year olds to start and then the 2 year old when you feel he is ready. The length of the lesson would be determined by the teacher after meeting my children. I am very interested in beginning the lessons as soon as possible.
We do not speak Polish in our home. However, as a family, we are very interested in the prospect as my husband is Polish but does not speak the language. It is important to both of us that our children be exposed to the Polish language at an early age and are comfortable with speaking the Polish language as adults.

I have recently moved to Kraków last week, after having lived in London, UK, all my life. I have strong Polish roots, as my mother's family are Polish, and I have always felt a strong connection to the country and it's culture.
Having decided that I wanted to experience life outside of London, and having always loved Kraków as a city, I found a good job over here, and have moved over.
My grasp of the Polish language however, is pretty limited. I used to speak pretty well up until the age of about 5, as my Grandparents spoke Polish to me, but unfortunately , as I was sent to an English school and spent less time with them, my Polish has become pretty much non-existent! The silver lining is that I do have the foundations, in that I'm told my pronunciation is very good. I really need to work on my vocab and grammar. My new job is as Global Sales Manager for a reputable company based in Kraków, and although most of the staff can speak English, I would like to show them the respect of communicating with them in their mother tongue. I will also eventually be expected to make sales pitches to large Polish corporations, and so I would really like to be able to converse with them in Polish too!
I'm confident that a lot of my Polish skills are hidden away somewhere in the back of my mind and so I just need someone with patience and a good sense of humour to help me find them! Depending on cost I would probably be looking for 1-2 Polish lessons per week, maybe more, preferably in the evening after office hours.
As for qualities in a teacher, I would prefer someone who can instill some confidence in me and who has some patience. I've been told by a lot of people that my Polish could be very good, but I feel I lack the confidence in myself.

I am inquiring about paired teaching as my friend and we have recently become very close friends with a family in Gniezno. We have recently returned from our first visit and our polish speaking is very limited.We are neighbors and it would be great if we could have lesson with the same teacher as we can study together at home.We are interested in 1 lesson a week for the length of 2 hours.We are also interested to know weather you are able to travel if we pay the cost. I am married to a Polish man whose family speak polish. I would like to be able to communicate with them and understand their conversations . Also when I go visit poland I want to be able to talk with his relatives.
