I have been learning Hindi through the Hindu Temple in Calgary from September to March 2012. I would like to have a one-on-one tutor at this point. I travel to India every 6 months.
I try to learn new words every week, listen to an on-line Hindi radio station and watch Hindi movies.

For quite some time I have been interested in learning a second language. For no other reason than for my own enjoyment, to broaden my knowledge and advance myself.
I am a beginner, as I have no current vocabulary in the Spanish language.
I would like to learn at least the basics and advance from there.
Honestly speaking, I have never done a one-on-one lesson in any aspect of life and would have to say someone who is at ease and patient. I am a quick learner and work hard, but as stated previously, I have no existing experience with Spanish. A quality that is as important is a teacher who can engage the student in many different ways; meaning, I am a very 'hands on' kind of individual. Speaking words and asking to repeat them is not a learning tool that I work well with.
I hope to find the right fit and am excited to move forward!
