Dear Sir Madam,
I am enquiring about learning German as a second language.
I have a very basic knowledge of the language (single words, numbers, very few sentences).
My partner is currently living in Germany & i wish to gain a basic understanding & knowledge of the language in order to speak basic German fluently.
As I am employed full time, I am quite busy, but I would like to dedicate the time & effort. (once/twice per week?)
I would like my teacher to start with the basics, although I need a 'fast track' approach, as I will need a basic understanding quite quickly.

I have an opportunity to further my career in Germany next year and wish to start learning the language.
I am a beginner with no prior experience.
I am based in Melbourne, but have been assigned to Perth for a period of 8 weeks where i would like to undertake 1-2 sessions per week with someone.

I learnt German for nine years in school and also went to Germany in 2004 as part of a school exchange program. However since I have graduated my knowledge for the language has slipped away and I need to get it back, I spent nine years learning it and it is too precious to me to simply give up. It would also help when I speak to my host parents (who speak minor English).
I also would like to learn French, something I've wanted to do for years. I have never learnt French though so I would have to start from the beginning.
