I am seeking instruction as a beginner in learning the Romanian language. I would like to visit the Moldova Republic in the next several months. As someone who knows little about the language, I need improvement in all areas. I would like to have 2-3 hours of instruction each week. I would like an instructor who will start with the assumption that I know nothing about the language. I am especially interested in finding a good textbook which would facilitate my study of the language and also serve as a source for review after my lessons are completed.

My mother tongue is Turkish. I used to speak fluent Turkish when I was 5, but as I learned English, my knowlegde of Turkish got dimmer. Also, learning German and Spanish reaaly just knocked Turkish out of my head. I wanna re-learn Turkish because I can barley communicate with my family and I always need my parents as translators. I could never write in Turksih. I can speak some Turkish, but grammatical wise, I would only be speaking nonsense. I can understand A LOT (yet, not all...)of Turkish, but I am unable to respond back. I can and will sacrifice my weekends to relearn my language. But I am still in high school, so mon-fri, i am pretty busy. I need a dedicated, patient, and a nice teacher. I cant stand ignorance or when teacher thinks that she is always right.

I have never before taken any Spanish language courses and would like to learn to speak and read proficiently so that I may open up new career options (several nonprofits that I am interested in prefer bilingual applicants). Learning a little culture along with the language would be appreciated as well, so that I can converse with native speakers comfortably and coherently. I would like to dedicate as much time as I can afford to my language lessons--I want to learn this as quickly as possible! In a teacher, I seek someone who is patient and encouraging, but who will push me to do better---I tend to be a visual person, so one-on-one work with additional texts will be appreciated. I also like to do some independant work, so any supplemental text recommendatio ns from a teacher are appreciated as well. I would like to place a high emphasis on proper grammar and conversationa l speech. Literature might also be appreciated.

I took a 3 semesters of Japanese in college. Unfortunately , that was 8 years ago and I'm afraid my proficiency is beginner. Hopefully, it will come back quickly. I want to re-learn Japanese to help me do business in Japan. I am a busy professional so I would like to meet personally with a tutor only once a week. I would like a teacher who will use real-world conversations to help me remember grammar and vocabulary.
