I have never studied Arabic before, this would be my first time. I am very interested in the Arabic language and would love to start studying it as soon as possible. I want to learn Arabic because I am studying International Law. I want to dedicate at least 10-12 hours per week learning the language. In a teacher I am looking for someone who is very passionate about the language, has complete knowledge of the language and have complete patience.

Hello,
A little bit of background, I started taking Spanish in 7th grade and continued all the way up to and including my senior year of highschool. I had some awful teachers so it deferred me away from continuing my studies within this area. I am a recent graduate of the University of Maryland and landed a job with Talecris Plasma Resources. As a marketing coordinator, and in dealing with plasma centers where most of the population is of hispanic origin and their first language is Spanish, I feel it necessary to hop back up on the wagon. I catch on very quickly due to my previous training so as though I am not as proficient as I once was, I am closer than not. So for the sake of arguement, lets just say I am a beginner so I can start with remembering the basics and go from there.
Again , I feel this is necessary for career advancement within my position and why I was hired.
Areas I would like to focus on...everythi ng! grammer, conversation, reading, writing, but mainly being able to understand and respond
I am aware that this is an everyday practice for me, but as far as lessons, I am thinking three times a week for an hour per lesson.
Qualities I look for: educated, innovated, engaging, helpful, challenging

I studied French for 3 years from 1999-2002. I would like to refresh my previous knowledge and continue my studies. My strengths were grammar and reading. My goal is to become fluent in French. I was previous at the intermediate level. I need a teacher that is available 1-2 evenings a week for private lessons. I would prefer a female teacher with previous experience teaching adults. I am also interested in learning Arabic.
