I would classify myself at a beginner level I guess. I would like to learn Spanish and Japanese. My reasons are because I travel and want career advancement. I would need someone to basically start from sratch with me. 5-10 hours a week learning the 'classroom' studies. Then for the remainder of the week, would like locations or places to chat so I can communticate in the language. In my teacher I would expect a friendly person who can understand the challenges and difficulties I would face learning a new language. I could either go to a classroom or home for learning purposes or the instructor can come to my house. I would perfer one-on-one but a small group would be fine. For my back ground, I only know english. In school I have been tought french in its basic form, but really dont know anything of that language.

Actually I had informally studied Japanese language when I was still in a Japanese company. But I still consider myself as a beginner. That's why when I transferred here in Manila, I want to continue studying that language for my career advancement. I wish I could take Japanese proficiency exam (for level 3) by December 2006.
I am currently working in a call center, but I can spend 2 hours (7am-9am or 6pm-8pm) everyday, except Sundays, for the class. The said schedule is my preferred one, but I can still adjust if it's really needed.
Ab out the teacher, of course I am looking for the expert one, someone who could help me to become competitive in the field of Japanese Language.
