Hello,
My name is Julia DiSano and I am interested in continuing my education in Japanese. I have just returned (5 months ago) from a one-year intensive Japanese language program at Kwansei Gakuin University in Japan. Prior to that, I also studied Japanese for 3 other years here in Canada (one during high school--every Sunday monring, and the other 2 years at university in NB). As a result, I am at a high intermediate/ early advanced language prficiency level, and am able to read about 800 kanji characters (though my writing ability my-hand is lower). I would like to partake in language classes this summer as well as, perhaps, individual tutoring on the same days. I am willing to study for approx. 2-4 hours 2-3 times per week, and hope to be able to converse freely in Japanese (to refresh my speaking ability, as I have no opportunities t practice that otherwise). Also, as I intend on teaching Japanese and English at the secondary school level, I would also be very appreciative if there were any type of job opportunity for me with the school.

i want a tutor that can teach me and my friend japanese. we are the beginner level and are looking to learn japanese so we can understand more of the stuff we watch/listen to like japanese shows or songs. We are looking for tutors who can teach in Edmonton, alberta at downtown or the noth side. we are looking for an easy going teacher who has flexible hours and is willing to negotiate payment. Classes have to be on staurdays after 9 am and before 6 pm.
we would like a teacher who can teach us both formal and casual/modern japanese (although leaning more to the casual). we are fast learners and don't mind work as long it's in a reasonable load. We hope to hear from you.

I wish to learn Japanese with my friend, We are at the beginner level. We feel to learn Japanese so we can understand terms in japanese liturature which intruiges us at a high level, and so we can also get a higher chance when getting a job when we are of the right age. Prices can be compramised and hours can be after 9AM and before 6PM. Being fast learners we don't don't mind work as long as the work is in medium sizes. Hope to hear from you.

My name is Ryan, I am a quadraplegic with cerebral palsy. I have full verbal communication ability. I would like to become fluent in Japanese for two reasons. One, I've always had an interest in Japanese language and culture, ever since I was a child. Two, I believe it would only increase my opportunities for employment. I have a degree in International Business and Pacific Rim studies as well as Hotel Management. I am interested in improving my ability to communicate as well as read the Japanese language. I have no past experience in Japanese, but always been very interested. I would be a beginner. The only day i have off at the moment would be Sunday, perhaps it might change but not very soon.
