I was raised in Istanbul, Turkey, and so I am somewhat familiar with some Arabic terms. However, I have always wanted to learn the language, and there is no time like the present. I am willing to dedicate as much time as is needed to get a full grasp on the language. In my teacher I am looking for patience and understanding . Also I would like my teacher to push me even when I do not feel ready or confident.

I have been interested in learning Arabic for a long time. I am now a senior in high school and I hope to attend the American University in Cairo (another reason why I would like to learn). I would probably be considered a beginner but I would dedicate as much time as needed to this endeavor, I am very driven. I am not sure what kind of teacher I am looking for but I do hope to find one and soon.
