My conversationa l skill is a beginner level. I studied Japanese at SDSU for 1.5 years and lived in Japan for one year. I can read and write hiragana and katakana but I've forgoten most kanji.
I am interested in learning conversationa l Japanese. Learning from a textbook is very different from actually speaking with someone.
I 'd like to visit some friends in Japan in September. Hopefully, I can speak Japanese with them.
I think 1-2 meeting per week would be good.
My listening comprehension needs to improve. I often had to ask people to repeat themselves many times.

I am a beginner in learning Japanese. I only have basic conversation skills and I am interested in learning how to write Japanese (Kana and Kanji) as well as speak it.
I'm learning Japanese out of personal interest and my hope to go to Japan to teach English once I've graduated.
I'd like to have lessons at least 2 hours every week.
I'd like a tutor who is aware of the Japanese culture so that I can also learn expected expressions and mannerisms while I learn the language. I'm a student so I will not be able to pay more than 20$ an hour.
