I am french with persian backgrounds. I will be arriving in Sydney in January 2010 to start an internship in a company. But I would like also to take time to learn farsi. I have already an acceptable level : I can understand but I miss a lot of vocabulary and it is not easy for me to speak. I can't read or write anything. I would like to visit Afghanistan to help with women, children, and infant's healthcare. I believe learning the language will help me communicate better when I do decide to go over and help. My proficiency level is beginner and I do not know much about the language. I am willing to commit to twice a week for the lessons.
