I would like to learn german, I'm just a beginner, I have no experience with German at all. I want to expand my career opportunities and learn the culture. I need to learn everything that there is to be about the German Language. I would like to dedicate at least one hour a day every week to the language, and I would like to have a teacher that is availabe at nights during the week, that teaches several other students ,or one-on-one. I would like them to be native speakers and very knowledgeable in the language and culture.

I have been living in Bern for almost a year. Eventually I would like to learn Swiss German, but first I need a good base in High German. I have taken a few German courses but need more intensive practice especially in spoken conversation. A teacher who speaks Swiss German as well as High German would be ideal but not necessary. I have had enough boring, routine, doing exercises out of a book type of classes. I need a more creative, personal, conversationa l approach.

: My German is beginner-inte rmediate. I have taken two courses at the University of Vienna, Austria and have lived in Austria for a year and a half as a student.
: I am learning German for myself and career advancement.
: The areas I need improvement is mainly grammer and conversationa l German, and to a lesser extent, vocabulary.
