I am a beginner level student, I know just a few words/sounds already but my pronunciation is almost certainly wrong!
I am a committed, mature yoga teacher with a daily physical and meditation practice. I visit India once every 18 months if possible to see my yoga teacher but I would really love to be able to learn Sanskrit in my home town.
I need improvement in the correct pronunciation of all the consonant and vowel sounds, and since this is the key element of the language I don't think an online/book-l ed course would be appropriate.
I would like to attend at least two classes per week, more if possible.
A mellow chanting voice and patience!

Although I studied Japanese in University of Montreal for three years between 1992 and 1995, I consider myself as a beginner who might become intermediate quickly. My job is bringing me to Japan in February and May 2008. I am interested in improving my conversation skills to be able to negotiate with my Japanese counterparts and be comfortable in having a day-to-day conversation.
