I am interested in learning ancient Greek. I would be interested in individual tuition or a class. The goal of my studies is to be able to read and translate ancient Greek prose.
I would describe myself as a beginner. I studied Greek, briefly, in High School 20 years ago. Last year I started taking a class locally but, unfortunately , the class folded after 8 sessions because of low attendance. I am keen to find another way of continuing the studies which I so briefly began. I work full time (in a completely unrelated field) so lessons would need to be in the evening or at the weekend.

I spent the last year in Delhi studying Hindustani classical singing, and I learned a bit of Hindi. But I need to practice and learn more grammar. I can read and write at a beginner level, and I can converse - well, I can make myself understood. I want to become fluent. If there is anyone in the Chicago area, I would love to meet in person for conversation practice. Otherwise, online tutoring would be helpful.

I started french this year in college. I love the language and I intend to use it when I go to french-speaki ng Africa after I finish college. However, I am not a dedicated student, I need motivation to study and I get intimidated in conversation. I want to be confident in my french!
