Hi,
I lived in Taiwan for three years and I think my level is low intermediate- intermediate. It's hard to tell! Native Mandarin speakers say my pronunciation is good but I want to concentrate on listening (conversation or tapes, radio) and speaking. I am learning Mandarin because I have a base already and I think it is a valuable skill to have. I also like it! Right now I'd like to dedicate an hour a week as I also have a language exchange once a week.
I simply want a teacher who will ONLY speak Mandarin (simple at first) and be patient :) with me, but who is laid back and fun to talk to. A Mandarin speaker from either Taiwan or Mainland China is fine. I'm also looking in the $15-20/hr range. Thank you!

I know very little French. Only what i learned in elementary school and grade eight. Most of which I have forgotten. I am planning a trip in February to work in Paris for 1 month in a night club atmosphere. I am also a fashion Designer and hope to network and make some contacts in the fashion world while I am there. I need some basic conversationa l French.
