Beginner: I know hiragana and katakana.
Why I am learning:
I would like to be able to communicate with friends from Japan in their native tongue. There are also works of literature, movies, anime, and manga I wish to read untranslated.

Everything.
Time:
Depen ds on the season. I think that at least an hour a day is doable.
Qu alities in teacher:
I'd prefer someone who is a native speaker. I want to learn properly the first time without having to backtrack in the future.

Hello I am a beginner in learning Japanese. I would like to learn this language so I can travle to Japan and start to converse with other people in there native languge also to expand my knowledge of other cultures and languges. The areas that I feel I need to improve in is all grammar and conversation. I would like to spend the summer and ever day after school durring the school semester to study Japanese.I would like to do hands on activities that can help me learn to read and write the langauge so I can communicate with other Japanese people.
