I wish to learn Estonian. I live in Tapa and plan to live and work here. I have a backround in teaching and was offered a position as an English teacher. I have a modest vocabulary and wish to become as close to fluent as possible by May. I can get by at the store and around town but wish to converse with my husbands family and friends. Right now we are using 'baby talk' and I feel I am offending them by not being able to speak with them like and adult. I cannot drive to the capital everyday so learning through Skype and chat would be the best option. Thank you in advance!

Hello,
I am a British lady who is relocating to Estonia. My daughter and I will be available for lessons in early December (our move takes place the previous week). My husband will be joining us in February when he, too, will require lessons.
W e have previously lived in Tartu for 18 months (2003-2005) and had a wonderful time; so much so that we have decided to make our home in Estonia.
We need to speak the language to enhance our opportunites in the workplace. We plan to live and work in your country.
We know a little basic vocabulary and can make a polite greeting - but that is about all. We are highly motivated and keen to start.
Up until Christmas we can envisage having 2 lessons/day, thereafter fitting in with our daughter's school programme. We are looking for a teacher who has a good sense of humour and who is highly communicative in her methodology as a teacher. Initially we would like to have the lessons in our home.

I am a beginner in estonian and most of what I have learnt so far has been from the teenagers I work with. I am on a 6month volunteer program working with teenagers and children and I would like to understand what they are saying when they speak estonian. I would like to dedicate about 2 hours a week to lessons. I would like a teacher who can make the lessons interesting and relevant to me and the teenagers.
