I wish to learn Arabic, since I will be moving to the UAE in the near future and it would be to my advantage to learn the local language prior to beginning my work there.
I have studied the basic alphabet as a student, however my remembrance of the same is very weak.
I would like to be able to converse at a basic level, as well as read and write enough for daily interactions.
I can dedicate a couple of hours on weekends to learning Arabic.
I look for an interactive teacher, who believes more in the learning of the language practically, rather than someone who could just enable me to pass an exam.

I am a student at the American University of Sharjah. My family moved to the middle east about 5 years ago. I also travelled in Egypt for some time where I learnt the arabic script and some local phrases for everyday use. So because of that I know some basic expressions and can read at a basic level.

I manage middle east geography for my company. Learning arabic will help me do my job better. More over I liked the places I visited in Middle East and the people I met.
As of now I hardly now a word in arabic. At the end of the course I would like to be able to fluently converse in Arabic and read and write if I can.
I can dedicate about an hour every day depending on how far I have to travel. I prefer to take these classes in the weekdays.
