I am learning or rather wanted to learn Japanese initially because I am a big fan of anime and loved the way the language was so expressive... .I also grew really interested in the few aspects of Japanese culture that I came across and would love to learn more....Anywa y I already have plans to visit Japan and the sooner I get a grasp of the language..I guess the better the trip
I am a beginner I tried online through japanesepod10 1 reached lesson 45 but without proper conversation practice I just couldn't go on
Qualities in a teacher...wel l language proficiency is a must of course.. :-)

I want to learn Japanese, as I believe it will help me with career advancement, specially since I plan to work there in the future. Even then I am fascinated by the language and have been trying to learn as much as possible about the language and the culture that comes with it.
I would say the beginner describes me well.
I am naturally good with languages, and would like nothing less than thorough command over the language, I would like really like to become proeficient with the accent and grammer.
T he amount of time I would like to dedicate to my language lesson is negotiable as my work timings are not fixed.
In my teacher I am looking for a native speaker ( preferably ) , someone who can not only be my guide but also be friendly,unde rstanding, open minded and open to questions.
