I am a beginner in the Bengali language. I would like to learn Bengali because I hope to go to Calcutta sometime again soon. ( I have been there before) I need improvement and help in all areas! I am looking to begin learning the arabic language for career advancement. I am most interested in learning conversationa l areas but would also like to learn grammer. I have booked a trip to Italy for May of 2005 and I want to be able to speak a good bit of Italian when I go. I have been trying to teach myself via CD Rom and audio tapes, but I don't feel like it's sinking in, since I don't get to use what I've learned in conversation.
I am very busy, and could only tutor 1-2 nights a week. I am probably considered to be at the beginner level. I need improvement in the area of grammar and conversation.
