Urdu is not a foreign language to me since I am an Indian whose mother tongue is Hindi
I would like to gain complete fluency in conversationa l Hindustani as my Hindi is currently embarassingly weak.
Whil e I understand Hindi without a problem and know enough to get around (my grammar and sentence formation is atrocious) I would like to bring myself to a level of Hindustani where I am equally comfortable speaking it as I am English (the language I have studied in and spoken at home since a child)
Gra mmar and sentence formation most important. Complete Conversationa l fluency is my only objective.
I would like to go for the 40 hour (10 week) programme at the recommended level.
I would prefer one on one classes. In terms of qualities, I would like a teacher who empathizes with how frustrating it is to not be able to be comfortable in one's own language and thus knows exactly what's needed to help me achieve my 10 week aim of mastering conversationa l Hindustani.
