I am a beginner Portuguese speaker. I would like to take lessons to be able to conversate before I take a trip to Brazil as well as for singing purposes (I love Brazilian music and since I sing, I wanted to connect better to the language). I would like to take at least one lesson per week. I am looking for a teacher who is a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker, who would be able to help me learn the correct pronaunciatio ns and the flow of the language in a fun and professional way.

I am a beginner in Portuguese, but I do speak spanish fluently. I will be traveling to Brazil in December with a friend who is a native of Brazilia and I would like to be able to communicate. I am a beginner in Portugese, but I speak fluent Spanish so I have a good knowledge of the grammar of Portugese. I know that some of the vocabulary is quite similar to Spanish as well. I will be travelling to Portugal in July, and likely to Brazil some time in the future too, and I've always wanted to learn Portugese. I'd like to learn conversationa l Portugese. I can study some evenings right now -- Wednesdays and Fridays only until the middle of this month, when I will be free during the daytime on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays until 4 PM, and the whole day on Wednesdays and Fridays. I'd prefer not to have class on the weekends.
I would like a teacher who puts emphasis on conversation and who is very relaxed and easy-going, as well as encouraging.
I am a language teacher as well, and I appreciate very much when the teacher is prepared for the lessons too.
