We are a British Married couple in their 50's, living and working in southern Poland, that require 5 or 6 months of intensive polish language tuition starting this autumn. We would prefer to have 'live in' tuition - which could be full time or weekdays only. We are only 'beginners', and require the language for both living and work (business) purposes. We need tuition in all areas - but especially conversation. Learning in a family environment would be our preferred option, and because of our ages a mature experienced teacher of polish is our preferred option. There is also the possible alternative of the tutor being provided with accommodation in our apartment.

I would like to learn the Polish language because my boyfriend and his family are Polish. I am definitely a beginner. I only know very few words. I think by learning the language, it would help me communicate better with my boyfriend's family. They do speak English but when they speak amongst each other, I can not understand anything. I am willing to spend evenings and weekends learning the language. In a teacher I am looking for someone who is patient and understanding . English was my second language, so I know how it feels to struggle to learn another language, so I would hope the teacher would have that kind of understanding also.
