I have taken some Spanish lessons at home using computer based training course - I have found this very useful, and know quite a few words - however, I have trouble understanding whole sentences and gettign to grips with the male/female and tenses.
I am looking to improve my listening, understanding and verbal skills. I am not concerned about being able to read/write in Spanish too much.
I am marrying my Fiancee this year, who is origianlly from Colombia. She has perfect English, but I want to learn Spanish for when I visit her family etc.
Intia lly I'm looking for one hour per week study, with homework. I want it to be fun and easy to learn where possible.

I am a beginner who has only had the two highschool Spanish courses. I am interested in learning Spanish for career advancement and personal enhancement. I am a beginner in Spanish. I spent 3 months in Costa Rica but I spent that time mostly with English speakers and working in English, so I didn´t learn a lot of the language. I want to learn it so I can talk to my Mexican friends in their native language, and because it is useful in the job market.
I want to become comfortable speaking - my conversationa l skills are very bad. In fact, I need help all around. I am prepared to spend a lot of time on this, but I hope it won't cost too much. An hour or two a week is probably all I can afford.
I would like a Spanish teacher who is patient, kind, and will help me to develop conversationa l skills while improving my grammar. I want each lesson to be well prepared and well thought-out, and homework to be given after every lesson so I can improve on my own.
I look forward to starting lessons soon!
