I have completed 2 semesters of Arabic and I am wanting to continue study on an intermediate level. I have been studying the modern standard Arabic. I would like to be able to read the newspapers and travel to different parts of the Middle East. I need help in conversation and grammar. I have very little exposure to Arabic. I have three books for beginners that I am trying to work through but it is difficult. I want to learn Arabic and continue learning Spanish for personal and business reasons. I am intrigued with culture and language and would like to pass any gained knowledge onto my children. I want a career in interpretatio n and believe Spanish is in high demand and Arabic is a rarity. My schedule flucuates weekly but would like to have 5-10 hours a week with the professor and then would allow another 5-10 hours a week for study. I want a teacher who is honest, credible and dedicated to teaching me sufficiently.
