I would need beginning Hebrew. I am interested in Hebrew to enhance my Biblical knowledge, as well as, for speaking the language in Israel. It is my dream to travel to Israel and work next summer. My proficiency level is beginner in all languages. These three languages are useful for career advancement in my major of Holocaust and Genocide Studies. I need improvement in all aspects of the learning process. I would like to dedicate weekends to my study with homework during the week to test my improvement. The qualities I am searching for are preferrably for native speakers, however, if not available, a superior record in tutoring. A considerate fee amount is also acceptable. I also know Polish, which help me improve faster in the Croatian and Serbo-Croatio n languages.

Hello.My wife and I and our just 16 year old son are planning to make aliyah within 1-3years but we cannot speak Hebrew.We are orthodox Jews. My wife and I can pronounce our prayers in Hebrew but cannot translate. Our son's pronounicatio n is very poor. Sept. he will be going to out of town Yeshiva. Primary concern is for our son during August to develop some confidence in conversationa l Hebrew while being given basic grammar. His English grammar is very poor. I am retired and my Wife works from Home office so we can be available day or evening with prior notice. My wife is native Russian and Polish speaking and is very good in languages.She is fluent in English. I was thinking about 2 maybe 3 one hour to 1 1/2 hr lessons/week. Prehaps first 1/2 hr for all 3 of us then 10m for my Wife and 20m for my son. Cost is an important factor. Have available Panafax( effectively a black board)for in person lessons. Lessons for Wife and I could continue after August if we are satisfied.

Hi, my name is John and I am a college student at UC Riverside and I live in Arcadia, CA. I have no knowledge of Hebew but am very interested in learning because I have an interest Biblical texts. I would very much like to become fluent in reading and conversing in Hebrew and I would like to spend 1 or 2 hours per session. I am looking for a teacher who is highly motivated to teach (because i am highly motivated to learn) and having some background in Biblcal Hebrew is a plus.
