I would lke to learn farsi because I am fluent in balochi so it won't be too difficult to grasp farsi. Also I am a writer and I would like to incorporate another language in my thinking ans perhaps be able to read and understand farsi poetry and literature at some point for inspiration. I can devote as much time as necessary for this project. I am looking for a teacher who can make it easy and interesting and an enriching experience for me. I want the teacher to give me the tools to be fluent in farsi, speaking reading and writing.

I would like to come to Iran and take an intensive course in Farsi, perhaps four to six hours per day for a couple of weeks.
I am particularly interested in studying Persian in Shiraz.
Iran seems like a fascinating country. I am a graduate student at university and would like to explore Iranian culture, starting with the language.

I will be working for an organization that may be sending me to the Afghanistan/P akistan region. I will need to be able to hold at least a simple conversation. I have spent a great deal of time researching electronic means of learning, but realize there is no substitute for face to face learning and a real person to talk to and learn from.
