I have done one year of Japanese through the Faculty of extension Univ of Alberta with one class a week and I am rapidly forgetting everything. I want to improve. I am learning for the love of languages and travel, and an interest in the Japanese culture. I need lots of practise in grammar (written work) and conversation. I need someone who has experience in teaching, ie has an effective teaching plan. I would probably want to connect at least twice a week, perhsps once in person, once by phone or internet. I am a mother in a busy household, but am willing to put in the work.

I guess I would be considered as a beginner.
I want to learn Japanese for no apparent reason, I just find it interesting.
I need improvement in all areas. (grammar,conv ersation, etc.)
I'm willing to spend 2 hours on weekends for tutoring and an hour everyday to just read about the grammar rules and basic scentence structures
I'm expecting a lesson that by the time I complete it, I can have a regular conversation in Japanese and that I could be understood. I'm looking for a patient and understanding teacher. A teacher that is willing to teach me as much as I am willing to learn.

Hi, I'm 20 years old and I have always been interested in Japanese language and I am taking a minor in Japanese in university. I have only been to Japan once, and I would like to practice my Japanese converstaiona l skills (I'm still not very good). I would like to practice once or twice a week after school.
I' m looking for a Japanese language exchange partner who would like to teach and learn basic conversationa l skills. (while maybe having some fun!)

I would like to learn Japanese. It doesn't matter how long the lessons take, although three times a week I am out and could probably only once a week. I want to learn japanese for I wish to move to japan later in life. I need to remember the words better, and am struggling with that. I would like a teacher that's understanding and loves what s/he does.
