I am a beginner with tagalog, but would like to bring myself to being fluent so I can understand and converse fully. I have a huge interest and respect in the filipino culture, and I feel that this is the next logical step. I am willing to put in as much time as necessary in order to make this happen for me. Hello. My Name is Bill Roberts and I am looking for a Tagalog teacher. My wife is filipino, my church is filipino and alot of our friends are filipino. I would really like to learn how to speak tagalog fluently. I do not speak any at present. I would like to have a one hour lesson once or twice a week until I can speak tagalog fluently. I will be travelling to the Philippines next summer so it would really be an honor if I could speak a little tagalog to my wife's relatives then. I am looking for a good teacher who can teach an English speaking person from the beginning well enough to communicate with someone in the Philippines.
