I've decided to learn Portuguese because It's always called my attention. I'm really interested in foreign languages and different cultures. I would like to easily communicate with everyone. I just started teaching myself some basic words and phrases online as well as singing along to some music, but I need to improve my Portugues in every way. I sometimes have a busy schedule, but I would like to dedicate as much time possible to learning. My goal is to be able to speak like a native. I'm looking for a teacher who is thorough, someone who will be able to help me online and by telephone too.

I want to learn the Russian language. I think Russia is a great country that has lots of opportunities for me, and I feel that I must become fluent in the Russian language to fully explore those opportunities . I will start taking classes in the Russian language, most likely, spring of 2011- which is only 6 months away.

I am currently in the process of adopting a child from Kazakhstan & have been attempting to learn Russian on my own with little success. I tend to learn much better in a teacher/stude nt environment. I only know about 5-10 words currently & can not read or write the language. My immediate need is to learn how to properly pronounce words & to navigate my way around Kaz when I travel, as well as to be able to communicate with my infant during the initial transition. I would like to take classes (private or semi-private) at least twice a week for about an hour or two depending on progress. Since I hope to travel soon to meet my child, I would like to get started quickly to absorb as much as I can before then.
I need a teacher that is open to adjusting the lessons to meet my needs. They must be patient and competent.

The foreign language course is to be taken by our son, age-12. We would like to expose him to the Russian language and culture.
O ur son would be a beginner of the language.
Our son is interested in an introductory course to the Russian language.
Our son would be able to spend no more than 2 hours a week with lessons.
W e want a teacher who is patient with children. We are interested in either private lessons or a small group class of 2 to 3 children.
