I already speak, read and write Pashto to Diploma Level - or I did. It's now been 2 years since I have spoken to a native speaker and my ability in Pashto is deteriorating . Speaking has always been my favourite and strongest discipline - my reading and writing are not so strong.
I would like to do converstaion and grammar classes one evening a week probably for 2 hours (price dependent). I work in North London and would prefer to study in the area but can travel further into London.
I want to improve my language because I really enjoy it and hope to be able to go to the Pashtun Region in the future if the situation there improves. I also would be looking towards job opportunities in the future once we have clearer idea of the pashto speaker job market after the ISAF draw down.
I'd like a teacher who is willing to discuss a broad range of topics in Pashto and listens.

I would like to find a native-speaki ng Pashto tutor to learn basic conversation, as well as Afghan culture and tradition. I am also interested in learning more about Islam.
I am female and would prefer a female tutor. I am hoping to be able to meet face-to-face once a week for 1-2 hours. I am willing to drive up to 1- 1 1/2 hours to meet up with my instructor.

I am married to a native pashtun and I would like to learn the language to communicate with his family. My proficiency level is beginner, I understand hello, how are you, what are you doing etc. very basic things. I want to focus on conversation level pashto, I am not too fussed about grammar. I want to have atleast 2-3 hours a week to learn as I am leaving in 1 month's time to visit the family. I prefer a female teacher who, if possible, is from khost province as they have a particular dialect. I am looking for someone who can make me confident in speaking as I am quite shy about my accent and way of talking.

I am a professional looking to learn Persian and Pashto, and have had exposure to Pashto I have a basic understanding of the Farsi and Dari dialects, and am not opposed to learning the Tajik dialect as well. I would like to become fluent to the degree that I can adequately speak and understand when someone converses with me. Additionally, I would like to be able to understand various forms of media (both written and aural). I am open to as much time as the instructor will provide. I would like a teacher that is professional as well as patient and laid back, and can convey essential cultural understanding across cultural and linguistic lines and barriers.
