Langua ges I would like to work on:
RUSSIAN
I am interested in improving russian in terms of writing, grammar and conversation skills. I can speak on a very basic communicative level as I was learning only through travelling.
GERMAN
My level in german can be assessed as intermediate, I have been learning that language for many years and visited Germany quite a few times. I wish to polish my grammar and finally start speaking with more confidence.
With time I would like to get Zertifikat Deutsch für den Beruf.
FRENCH
I would love to learn at least basic french as I am in love with it.
I have never learned before.

I live in Deutschland. Have taken basic courses some years ago but, truthfully, have little interest in learning proper German. I won't live that long! I know a bunch but need to get more functional. Meine Frau speaks English a bit but we struggle along. I want to learn enough German to get by - not pass exams or to speak it in a business environment.
My fluency level? Well, I can get what I want at the store, bakery, etc. but conversationa lly I am s__t. I can read some but my understanding of the spoken language is poor at best. By the time I understand what someone has said the speaker is gone on to another subject.
I want a teacher with a sense of humor. None of this dry, professor BS.
How much time do I want to dedicate? Well, I am not rich but will to pay and dedicate much time if the teacher and I click and I see that the teaching approach works for me.

To My Prospective Teacher,
I am a 25ry old young lady residing in Durban.
I am going to be visiting Germany in June this year(2014) and there is a strong possibility of a prolonged relationship between myself and the German family therefore;I need to learn German.
No t only will this help me feel good about myself but it will be great to be able to understand every part of the conversation that I am involved in. this will also help me advance my language skills
I am a beginner at this language and have never studied it before therefore I am willing to dedicate a lot of time to my lessons and learn as much as possible.
At the end of this course I would need to be able to understand a standard conversation, speak, read and write. I am also looking to enroll on the longest course possible.
In terms of qualities in a tutor,
I seek somebody who is experienced and professional. I am pretty much a quick learner; however, I would appreciate a patient tutor and someone with love for teaching.
