I am a beginner, though I have years of experience learning Arabic, so the alphabet and a lot of vocabulary are familiar. Also nothing could be harder than Arabic!
I would like to learn Farsi because I lived in the Middle East for a long time and I love Iran so much. I want to be able to read the literature and someday visit Iran again.
For the summer, I'd like to practice at least an hour a day. I am good at learning on my own, but I need a teacher who can guide my pronunciation , engage me in basic conversation in Farsi, and correct my grammar mistakes.

Beginner/Intro ductory. I have no formal knowledge of Farsi. I can speak some French, good Hebrew and superb English. I wish to be able to learn Farsi to gain a better appreciation and understanding of Persian culture. I wish to be profficient in conversation and am not so concerned with writing. Conversation is the goal. I wish to study for maximum 1-2 hours per week. Preferrably one session. I want someone who is interested in teaching and learning.
