Hello. My name is Misty and I am very interested in learning arabic. At this moment I have no experience with this language, so I'd have to start as a beginner. I wish to learn arabic for a few reasons: one is to expand my knowledge in other cultures, to work with a humanitarian organization in the future, and to find a career as an arabic translator. Other than my part time job, arabic lessons would be my main priority. Some qualities I am looking for are an organized lesson plan and a thorough teacher. I would be a beginner. I have not had any experience. I speak French with some proficiency. I am new to the mandarin language, but i am a 3rd year french student, and am eager to learn multiple languages to further advance my career in journalism, business, and linguist studies. I would love 3-4 days a week of 3hr. or so lessons, wanting to immerse myself as much as possible and learn the language as quickly and efficiently as possible. I want a very educated teacher, one whom knows all about china, not just the language. A am looking for a tutor who is patient, but firm and very solid in their teaching style, while being able to speak freely about the culture.
