I have taken the begining course of Japanese 101 as a continuing educational study at Rice University. However, it has been quite a while since I last attended and though I can still recall how to read hiragana and katakana, I really can't remember much other than a few words and phrases. In many ways I will be working from scratch. My classes at the Art Institue of Houston keep me fairly busy with projects, though I'm sure that will not be a problem considered my drive to learn Japanese. Ive been anxious to learn the language since I was 15 and still hope to be fluent oneday.

The need is for someone to tutor my son who is 17 and is in his 2nd year of Japanese in High School, but not doing well He is alright with getting a tutor and we the parents will cover a reasonable fee. We prefer in-person, but will settle for online help.
