Hello,
I need to learn Brazilian Portuguese. Im a beginner. I have been to Brazil, 2 years ago for one month. I will be returning to Brazil in December 2005. My partner is from Brazil, and we will be traveling about once a year. I want to learn so we can spend more time there with his family. Im from California, and speak english. I want to dedicate alot of time learning. Depending on price.. I would like to have one lesson a week or 2 lessons a week.. or more depending on the overall recommendatio ns. Im looking for a teacher familiar with brazilian portuguese. Thanks :)

I would love to learn Portuguese, and I currently don't even know Spanish that could assist me in learning. I also have a few family members that would be interested in learning as well. My family is originally from the Azores, but the language was never passed on to the kids. We do not want to learn 'Brazillian' portuguese though.

Beginner.
I would like to learn Portuguese because I was adopted from Brazil and have always been interested in my culture. I will be traveling to Brazil in the beginning of the summer and would like to at least know a little bit of the language. I have also been taking capoeira classes where we not only practice capoeira, but we also include the music and songs. I would really like to be able to know what I'm singing about!
I have a funny schedule at school...ever y other day I dont have a 2nd period class(9:00am- 10:30am) and as of right now thats my only class. I was hoping I could find something early in the morning becuase I will be working anytime after 2:00.
I have no preferance in a teacher. I would just like to be able to take a class as soon as I can! Thank you.

I recently returned from a 2 year stay in Sao Paulo, Brasil.I don't want to lose the language proficiency I achieved while I was there and in fact would like to improve my language skills. I am at an intermediate level. I really need to work on grammar, reading and writing.
I would like to work with a native speaker and I would like the class content to be about current events, art and culture (Brasilian of course). I would like to spend at least 2 hours a week on course work.

I would love to learn portuguese. This is a language I hear almost everyday and I feel like I want to communicate with others. I go to church here in Orlando, Florida in potuguese and I take this as a way of learning the language. I know two languages (english and spanish) and want to learn more languages. Knowing more languages will help me with the people that surround me and with future college entries and jobs. I can dedicate as much time needed to learn portuguese. I want to learn how to speak, read and write portuguese. In a lesson I want as much attention as my teacher can pay to me because I really want to learn.
