I know a little Japanese from visiting friends in Japan but I have never had a teacher. I can read hiragana, katakana, and a few kanji.
My company opened a game studio in tokyo this year that I would like to eventually work at, so focusing on pronunciation and grammar would be helpful. Also, I visit friends 2 times a year in Tokyo and sometimes DJ there, so improving my conversation would really help me.
I am available to meet most weekday nights and weekends, but I can try to meet at other times if its more convenient for the teacher.
I n a teacher, I am looking for someone who is fun to work with but who expects me to work hard and isn't afraid to tell me when I am doing something wrong.

I have no proficiency what so ever. I wish to learn the language to facilitate my education (I'm seeking an MA in International Relations). I would need a teacher who can take me from 0 knowledge to fluency. I am willing to dedicate as much time as it takes to learn the language as well as possible.
