Hello,
A little bit of background, I started taking Spanish in 7th grade and continued all the way up to and including my senior year of highschool. I had some awful teachers so it deferred me away from continuing my studies within this area. I am a recent graduate of the University of Maryland and landed a job with Talecris Plasma Resources. As a marketing coordinator, and in dealing with plasma centers where most of the population is of hispanic origin and their first language is Spanish, I feel it necessary to hop back up on the wagon. I catch on very quickly due to my previous training so as though I am not as proficient as I once was, I am closer than not. So for the sake of arguement, lets just say I am a beginner so I can start with remembering the basics and go from there.
Again , I feel this is necessary for career advancement within my position and why I was hired.
Areas I would like to focus on...everythi ng! grammer, conversation, reading, writing, but mainly being able to understand and respond
I am aware that this is an everyday practice for me, but as far as lessons, I am thinking three times a week for an hour per lesson.
Qualities I look for: educated, innovated, engaging, helpful, challenging

My husband and myself would like to learn conversationa l spanish. We are beginners and we would like lessons once a week. We would like a teacher who is patient and has a sence of humor.
My father was from Peru and came to this country when he was a young man in the 1950's. He felt that speaking spanish in this anglo country could hold him back from job promotions, so we never learned spanish.
H e took us to Peru for a 2 month visit when I was thirteen and it was a wonderful experience and I would love to go back in the next year or two and do some volunteer work with the poor and street children.

Hi there,
I am interested in taking spanish lessons, I am technically a beginner, though have lived in and amongst spanish speaking countries for a couple of years. I have a fair bit of conversation skills, but I know my grammar is bad. I would like to improve in both areas but in the end, I want to strengthen my conversation skills so I could potentially work in a spanish speaking country in the future.
I would like to dedicate maybe 4 hours a week of language lessons and would look for a teacher that was fun to learn from.
