I am not quiet a beginner in Hebrew. I purchased a text book from Jerusalem, and have taken myself through lesson 16. At this point in my studies, I feel that I need a teacher to have more accountablity to study.
I am learning the language because I love to travel in Israel, and I have many Israeli friends. I want the personal satifaction of communicating with them in their native language.
I would like to have two to three-hour lessons, once or twice per week. I am willing to travel into the Chicago area for lessons, if necessary.
My preference would be that the teacher is a native speaker, so that I can learn the proper accent.

To Whom it may concern:
I am a b'nei Anussim seeking a Hebrew teacher in order to be able to read my Siddur. I have being trying to learn via some Hebrew course in Internet, but my progress is very slow.
I have not being able to find someone that gives private Hebrew lessons in Mexico City. Being a Dermatologist my schedule is a little tight and I could be able to take class on Tuesday and Thursday early afternoons.

I have no previous knowledge of Hebrew. However, I will be moving to Miami Beach, FL in the next few months and will be working closely with people of the Jewish faith. I figured it would be helpful and respectful to learn as to not be offensive and ignorant. Can I learn Hebrew without being Jewish? I am Catholic and do not want to convert. I merely want to learn Hebrew and maybe some Yiddish as well. I currently live in Chicago, so please respond only from that area. Thank you so much!

Beginner - have visited Israel twice this year and am looking to be a better communicator. I am an actor and forsee an opportunity to perform Biblical stories in the coming years. I currently have a script that I am intending to translate and need to ensure that the message is exact. Conversation will be key eventually and need to get some quotes as to the monetary commitment that may take. If I do all my lessons via email, is there a trip to you that would give me an exam and some certification ? Please give me a quote of what you think I may need. I did take lessons over there for 1 hour per day for about 3 weeks and found that I caught on quickly.
