I know nothing about Japanese; therefore, that makes me a major beginner! However, I really really want/desire to learn Japanese. I dream of eventually pursuing a Masters in Foreign Security which requires a proficiency in a foreign language. I really really want Japanese to be my foreign language of proficiency. I am a young adult who works full time, so I would prefer being tutored on weekends. I would like to have a structured learning experience. In other words, I expect my tutor to require me to buy a textbook and/or learning materials. I am very motivated/ent husiastic about learning. I want to be able to speak, read, and write the language. I don't really know how much language tutors charge these days... I would like to have an hour lesson scheduled weekly... If you contact me, I am sure we can come to an agreement on pricing.

I am trying to pick up as much of the language, both written and spoken, as I can before I go off to college in the fall. I'll be majoring in French, as well as taking German, Russian, and possibly Mandarin Chinese, as well as American Sign Language. I'm hoping that I can turn these skills into a good, rewarding career.

I have an intermediate level of both Japanese and Spanish.
I lived in Japan and studied in Venezuela. My abilities are definitely rusty, but I would like to resume serious study of both languages. Now, I am working as a residential superintenden t building homes. Increasing my ability with the Spanish language would be excellent. I would like to focus on conversation and verb conjugations. I would like to dedicate as much time as I can to my lessons. I could see managing a few hours a week for starters. I am looking for instructors that are personable as well as professional.
