Hi, I am very interested in learning the Ukrainian language. Since I have no experience in the past, I want to start out with the basics of the language and then advance from there. The reason I want to learn this language so badly is because my girlfriend that I truely love, was brought up in a Ukrainian school in Toronto. I want to learn the language so that I am more familiar with her background. I hope to be able to ask her to marry me while speaking in Ukrainian. I lived in Osaka for one year as a Nova teacher and am planning on going back one day. I only studied Japanese the last three months I was there and really want to continue learning. I only know a limited vocabulary and really no sentences. I can understand a little more than I can speak. I want to also practice reading and writing. I have some text books already that we could use, as well as free conversation. My work schedule is always changing so I need flexible hours. I'd like to meet twice a week and maybe more in the future. I want to hopefully start a small business and teach in Japan.

I am a beginner trying to learn Japanese. My interest is purely for fun, but I intend to become fluent after years of study and practice. At this point I'm casually seeking an inexpensive personal tutor who can guide me, give me homework, answer my questions, and generally be a mentor as I learn the basics of the language. My ideal tutor would give me many things to work on in between our meetings. I have already memorized the Hiragana, and I am working on the Katakana and some Kanji. Still, I need lots of work, especially in vocabulary, and Kanji. I'm willing to dedicate as much time as possible to really get ahead in the language. Thanks! :)
