I'm a student, ESL instructor and journalist interested in developing my language skills for travel in the Middle East. I have a very basic knowledge of Arabic and Farsi, and am looking to improve both. I would also be interested in studying Turkish. I'm a beginner level in turkish.
I want to learn turkish because I have fiancee from Turkey and he don't speak english.So I want to visit him in Turkey in summer and be able understand and speak some turkish.
Are a that I feel need improvement is mostly in conversation, but I need some grammar as well.
I don't really have specific time I want to dedicate to turkish lessons,but I need to learn perhaps beginner level by summer 2009.
Someon e who is patient and can explain the lesson very well.

I spent 10 months teaching English in Istanbul and now that I am back in Canada, I would like to formally learn conversationa l Turkish. I am a beginner but I know a few words and sentences.
I want to learn out of a personal interest for the language, country, culture.
I can spend a few hours every week on classes, depending on the price.
