I am interested in learning Creole and/or French. I would be at the very beginning level. I have traveled to Haiti on a mission trip prior to this and hope to return and communicate much more efficently with my friends. I will need training in all areas avaliable. I would like to learn Creole because it has been spoken by my elder family members in Louisiana for years. I plan to purchase instruction books to begin learning the basics and I hope to locate an instructor to help me in learning the language.I am currently in graduate school but very close to graduation, so I am able to dedicate a few nights a week to learning.
I would also like to learn Spanish for professional purposes.

I have absolutely no experience in Creole, and am trying to learn completely. I want to learn so that I can work with Haitian refugees during the current civil rights crisis and with hurricane relief victims.
I am willing to commit 10 hours a week if necessary.
S ince I am a student, I have limited money, but will meet what I have to. I can also buy lunch at my school's dining hall for each time we meet, which is actually really nice and has awesome food. I really want to learn Creole so I can help Haitian refugees, so I hope someone will want to help me! Thank you!
