I have just started teaching myself Maltese, as such my knowledge is pretty minimal. I wish to understand written and spoken Maltese and have some conversationa l ability. I am not interested in learning detailed grammar at this stage, I want to take a pragmatic approach to learning to communicate in Maltese. I am looking for a tutor to provide fairly intensive tuition for about 3 hours per day for a week on an ad hoc basis as I come to Malta fairly randomly, but a number of times during the year. I want a well-educated tutor who is totally fluent in Maltese and English.

Urgently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced native Maltese teacher for individuals or small group of highly motivated conference interpreters wishing to learn Maltese for professional purposes. Different native languages, but all speak and understand English. Starting at a beginner's level. All aspects of language, with emphasis on comprehension . Understanding of special requirements of interpreters. Classes once(or twice)per week, two to three hours each.
