Hello, My name is Mark Muirhead; I wish to learn the janguage Japanese, for many reasons. For one, if will be a nice thing to be able to do for future reasons, obviously. Second, I watch a lot of anime and would like to be able to understand them withouts have them subbed or dubbed. And also, my friends and I wish to travel to Japanese for a while as me get a little older.

I have no previous knowledge of Japanese language or culture. I am interested in learning to speak Japanese for business overseas. I am currently a university student and am going to be majoring in International Business, so clearly, knowledge of the language would be a monumental asset, as you knowledge of the Japanese culture. I would like to dedicate at least three days a week, several hours each time to the study of Japanese from now (Feb. 2004) until the end of April of this year. I would eventually like to be able to speak Japanese fluently. I have found in the past that I am strong with Languages, namely French, Croatian English and Spanish. Although I am not sure how I would fare with an Asian language.

I am a total beginner in Japanese but i strongly want to learn because i want to go live in Japan someday. I am presently learning some words but i think i am far away to be able to have a fluent japanese conversation but that's my goal.
I can dedicate around 1-3 times a week in the japanese lessons (depending of the hours of classes)
I wish to get an open minded teacher and an energic one!!
