I am a complete begginner at Portugeuse. I have picked up a tape to get an idea of some useful phrases, the accent, and the meter. I know that in order to gain a more complete understanding I will need a tutor. I will be living in Espirito Santo, Brazil next year as a foreign exchange student. I'm a beginner looking to learn Brazilian Portuguese from a 'live' tutor. I learn best in a 'quiz and drill' environment with lots of homework.
I'm looking for a teacher who is fluent in both English and Brazilian Portuguese.
I can travel throughout the South Bay (San Jose, Silicon Valley) area - or will host a teacher here.
