I am now living in Lahore and prior to this was travelling in India for 5 months now. I have been studying Urdu throughout this period. First of all in Dharamshala and then for a longer period in Landour Language School in Dharamshala and hten again in Lucknow. The reason I am studying is because my father is Pakistani, from Lahore and I have a large family here. I am making very good progress with the language and would describe myself as being of intermediate spoken level although I am currently trying to learn the script. I know the alphabet but little more. I will learn this before I arrive in Lahore. I am extremely keen to find a good teacher in Lahore as soon as possible. I will stay for at least 4 or 5 weeks and maybe more. Please provide me with as much information as you can as I would like to arrange a teacher before I arrive. I will live with my family in the Karim PArk area. I am most interested in improving vocabulary and grammar but an all round knowledge of the language is what i really want so I can speak with my family properly for the first time. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hello! I am looking to start lessons in the Arabic language. I have never spoken or read this language, but i have studied french and spanish.(if that is any help :)) I am learning this language because i am engaged to be married in a year and a half and i would like to be able to speak to my new mother in law.So reading and conversation would be my focus. This would be a transition language since ultimately i will be speaking urdu.I am willing to dedicate 2 days a week to learning Arabic, with a maximum of 4 hrs a day.I am looking for a teacher who is patient and understanding .However, also someone who will hold me accountable and teach me well.

Hi there my future teacher,
Im a Pakistani currently livin in Mei Foo, my mothertongue is pushto but i do not know Urdu/Hindi/Ne pali, people've been tellin me that learnin either 1 of these language and you can communicate with people from all 3 countries. I want to learn any1 of these since I have friends from Nepal, India, Pakistan. My friends knows it and i feel kind of left out that i dont, so yea, im a absolute beginner in Urdu, well maybe not..some pushto words are like Urdu, for the time arrangement.. .we'll discuss about it later, qualities? hmmmmmm....ju st be a good teacher and dont say 'ask me what u wanna learn' cuz that's what all my friends say and im so sick of it, i wanna learn the basic step by step, not rememberin 1 sentence each by each, I can speak n write fluent english just incase you havent noticed ehehehehe, oh by the way, i dont need to learn write and read, just speakin and listening. Thanks!
