How much time I want to dedicate to my lessons: well, depends... ;-). I think at least two times a week and about two hours each time.
I'd rather learn in a group. It's less expensive and 'more learning'.

I am a beginner. I am looking to learn Polish because that is the language the my fiance speaks. Although I don't require it to speak with him, it is difficult sometimes with his family because their english isn't the best. I thought that I could try and meet them half way. I also might be travelling to Poland in a few years and would like a head start on the language.

I am a beginner. I'm of Polish decent and wish to learn the language for a trip next year. I'm the first generation in my family not to speak Polish and wish to change this. The time I'd perfer to dedicate is 2 nights a week, with some homework assignments for a Sunday. Qualities I desire in a teacher are patients, respectfulnes s, and willingness to explain. A sense of humor would be nice too.
