Dear Sir or Madam:
I learned from the internet about Language-Scho ol-Teachers.co m. I am looking for a good and efficient way to learn the turkish language.
My interest in turkish has a very good reason. It is simple but wonderful. I visited Turkey past summer and felt in love with the country and a great man, who speaks my native language German. But as I think of a serious future with him, I would love to be able to speak his native language as well.
Turkey is a wonderful country and as I plan to go back to visit and maybe to live there one day, I know I have to have knowledge of the spoken language in order to be able to understand the people and even to find a possible workplace.
I am from Berlin, where almost half of the population is turkish speaking. I was basically raised with the sound of this language. But unfortunately I never had the chance to understand it myself due to lack of interest.
I would have to start from the basics and I hope to find through this site the right person to teach me. Most important is the daily spoken language to me, to be able to participate in conversations and to express my feelings and thoughts. Since I am a perfectionist I am also eager to learn the full grammer. I am looking for a teacher who is willing to explain the basic of the turkish language to me and who also has the patience to go through grammer as many times as it is neccessary.
Currently I am working full-time from 12-10pm everyday but Wednesday. As you see, there is not much time to attend a class everyday. I would appreciate to get an respond with a suggestion on how to proceed further. Should I rather go with an online-course ? Although I would prefer to learn live in person. Please let me know what possibilities I have.
Than k you very much and I hope hearing from you soon!
Sinc erely yours,
Kat arzyna Kobylanska

I am a beginner. I am learning because my wifes family does not speak english. They live in Turkey I am going there in July 2009. I would like to be able to have a conversation with them. I will spend as much time as necessary so I can have a conversation with them. I am a fast learner and my wife is Turkish so she can also assist me. I would like someone who is also good in the English language so I can ask lots of questions.

I have a strong love of language and culture. I would like to learn as many possible, and Turkish has recently been one of major interest.
I have absolutely no background in Turkish and am looking for a patient and professional tutor.
I would also like to find a Tagalog tutor. My family is from the Philippines, but I cannot speak the language. I can understand it fairly well, but I would like to learn grammar rules and conversationa l skills.
Fr ench is another language that I'd like to further develop. I'm already pretty capable in French, but need more practice.
Thanks!

I Would like to start as a beginner even though I do know some turkish. When it comes to what in particular I would like it to be more concentrated on the conversation. My father is turkish but he unfortunatly never got the chance to teach me so I basicly had to teach myself. I am getting engaged soon to a Turkish guy from turkey but we have difficulty understanding each other because his english is poor and my turkish aswell. I am working full time for the moment and i do not have steady schedual, although i would dedicate myself 110% on learning this language and hoping that by this summer i could have a decent conversation with my fiancé. It would be kindly appreciated if i could get the answer as soon as possible I am so anxuse to start my classes. Thank you very much in advance.
